It is genuinely impossible to tune. On the Bb side of the horn, when I play concert F, it’s so sharp that it almost registers on the tuner as an F#. When I play on the F side, it’s so flat that I can play without my hand in the bell. It’s so freaking ridiculous! UGHHHH.
I literally had to stop practicing just now because it was pissing me off so bad I wanted to throw it at the wall. Fml.
Any other horn players have this issue? Advice? I’ve messed with every slide, and it just doesn’t get better. >.
